Bangsamoro Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao police spokesperson, Lt. Col. Jopy Ventura, said the men – allegedly transported from Bukidnon, Sultan Kudarat, and General Santos City – were intercepted in checkpoints near Buluan Poblacion.
Congressional candidate Esmael Mangudadatu claimed "they were hired to vote and create disturbances using weapons."
The suspects remain detained as authorities investigate potential election fraud.
The seizure included newly issued voter forms, suggesting organized manipulation attempts. (PNA)
