3 voters faint due to extreme heat in Quezon City

  • According to the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (QCDRRMO), a 55-year-old, 51-year-old, and a teenager passed out during the voting process. 

Three female voters passed out due to extreme heat at Commonwealth Elementary School in Quezon City on Monday, May 12. 

According to the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (QCDRRMO), a 55-year-old, 51-year-old, and a teenager passed out during the voting process. 

It also said that extreme heat and hunger led to the fainting of the said individuals. 

They were immediately assisted by the medical team in the area.

Voters were advised to keep hydrated and bring portable fans to avoid heat stroke and fainting. 

As of this posting, QCitizens are continuously arriving in the city's polling precincts to cast their votes.

Based on the record of the Commission on Elections (Comelec), the Commonwealth Elementary School has 39,120 registered voters.
