Marcos took to social media to greet all mothers on Sunday, May 11.
"Mothers are the quiet strength behind every family. They care, nurture, guide and give of themselves without asking for anything in return," the President said as he shared a photo of his mother—former first lady Imelda, wife—First Lady Liza, and sister—Irene.
"Their love knows no bounds—and neither does their sacrifice," he added.
The President also expressed his appreciation to all mothers for their unmatched love and care.
"Ngayong Mother’s Day, taos-puso kong kinikilala at pinasasalamatan ang lahat ng ilaw ng tahanan. Maraming salamat sa inyong walang kapantay na pagmamahal at pagkalinga (This Mother's Day, I wholeheartedly honor and thank all the mothers who are the light of every home. Thank you for your incomparable love and care)," Marcos said.
