Drug suspect arrested in Muntinlupa

A known drug personality, who surrendered to authorities under the Duterte administration’s “Oplan Tokhang” in 2016, was arrested by the police in Muntinlupa on May 11. 

The suspect was identified by the police as alias Komang, 56, tricycle driver, and a resident of Aplaya Looban in Barangay Cupang, Muntinlupa. 

Komang, listed as a high value individual, reportedly returned to illegal drug activity. 

The police executed a search warrant that led to his arrest and confiscation of 50 grams of shabu.

The search warrant was issued by Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Office of the Executive Judge. 

During the raid, police recovered from the suspect the shabu contained in five plastic sachets valued at P340,000, an empty sachet, an improvised aluminum tooter, and a piece of rolled aluminum foil. 

He was brought to the Muntinlupa police station for documentation. 

The police will file a complaint against the suspect for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) with the Muntinlupa City Prosecutor’s Office.
