Three men were arrested after they were caught with P1.36 million worth of shabu in Taguig on May 9.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as alias Rafael, 24; alias Arjay, 27; and alias Felix, 35, who were arrested in a buy-bust operation in front of a grocery store along Labao Street in Barangay Napindan. The SPD said the three are new high value individuals
Recovered from the suspects were three plastic sachets containing 200 grams of shabu valued at P1.36 million, a P1,000 bill and 59 pieces of P1,000 boodle money and a cell phone.
The confiscated items were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
The police will file a complaint against the three suspects for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
Section 5 refers to the “sale, trading, administration, dispensation, delivery, distribution and transportation of dangerous drugs and/or controlled precursors and essential chemicals” and Section 11 is the “possession of dangerous drugs.”
