Villars draw massive crowd in Las Piñas campaign motorcade
The Villar family turned heads and drew cheers Friday morning as they led a lively motorcade through Barangay BF International-CAA, rallying support just weeks before the national elections.
Senatorial hopeful Camille Villar was joined by her parents — former Senate President Manny Villar and Senator Cynthia Villar, who is seeking a congressional seat — as well as her brother, Senator Mark Villar. The political show of force highlighted the family’s unity and long-standing presence in Las Piñas, where they continue to enjoy strong grassroots backing.
Residents flooded the streets of one of the city’s largest and most vote-rich barangays to greet the Villars, waving banners and chanting support throughout the route. Camille Villar, considered one of the rising millennial bets in the Senate race, used the event to connect with local voters and energize her campaign.
Also spotted on the campaign trail was actress and television personality Mariel Rodriguez, who lent her celebrity presence and voiced support for the Villar slate.
With the elections fast approaching, the Villars’ motorcade sent a clear message of their enduring influence and political reach in both the local and national arenas.
