The suspects were identified by their aliases: "Nene," 24; "Heart," 20, both residents of Barangay 515, and "Dan," 45, a resident of Metrica Street, Barangay 501, Sampaloc.
According to Police Lt. Col. Brillante Billaoc, station commander of MPD Sampaloc Police Station 4, alias "Nene" was the primary target of the operation and classified as a Street Level Individual (SLI), while the two others were considered High Value Individuals (HVIs) which are known drug distributors in their respective areas.
Confiscated during the operation were approximately 225 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspects are currently detained at the local police station and are facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
