Operatives of Northern Police District (NPD) seized a total of P364,480 worth of shabu and arrested a high-value individual man in a buy-bust operation inside Navotas Public Cemetery.


Police identified the suspect as “Dey dey,” 23, a resident of Barangay Tangos.
Based on the police report, personnel of Navotas City Police Station- Drug Enforcement Unit (NCPS-DEU) and NPD launched the entrapment operation at the Navotas Public Cemetery in Barangay San Jose at around 10:47 p.m. on Friday, May 9.
The operation was also coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), which led to the arrest of the suspect.
Police said that Dey dey was listed as a high-value individual and street-level pusher, and was caught in possession of approximately 53.6 grams of suspected shabu.
Authorities confiscated a total of 53.6 grams of “shabu” valued at P364,480, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspect will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 26 (Conspiracy) of the Republic Act 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
