Erwin Tulfo reveals mystery bet that he wants voters to support alongside Alyansa

ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo has finally revealed the "plus one" candidate that he wanted his countrymen to vote for on top of the 11 senatorial bets of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
Rep. Tulfo did so during Alyansa’s final grand campaign rally, or miting de avance, on Friday night, May 9 in Mandaluyong City.
For the majority of the campaign period, the administration-backed Alyansa was composed of only 11 candidates, one short of a complete slate of 12.
Rep. Tulfo tried to remedy this in his own way.
"May isasama po akong isa, isama niyo na po si tol Ben, para labindalawa (Let me include one more, please include my brother Ben, to make it 12)," the congressman said in his campaign speech on stage at Nueve de Febrero Street.
He was referring to independent candidate Ben Tulfo, who like him came from the world of broadcasting.
Rep. Tulfo, a deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives, had teased the 11 + 1 candidate earlier in the campaign.
He was supposed to reveal the mystery bet during the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) and Tingog Party-list's grand rally for the Alyansa slate in Tacloban City last Thursday,
However, Rep. Tulfo's microphone malfunctioned and he had to cut his speech short.The two Tulfo brothers are expected to win Senate seats based on their consistently strong performance in surveys.
The mid-term elections will take place on Monday, May 12.
