Coffin contains photos of party-list groups
Police urged the public to come forward with any information that would identify the individual or individuals who left or own the abandoned coffin which was reported to the police through a 911 call at around 2 a.m.

Police Lt. Col. Romel M. Santos, chief of police, said the Police Community Precinct 6 found the casket in Sitio Paroba 1, Barangay Tibag.
The coffin had two tarpaulins – one with the image of an individual, Azase Galang, accompanied by a note that says “Azase Galang, deceased narekrut namundok nag-NPA (Azase Galang, deceased, recruited, became an NPA).”
“Additionally, four photographs of the party-list groups Bayan Muna, Kabataan, ACT-Teachers, and Gabriela women’s party lists were found inside, along with a message stating: ‘Huwag Iboto ang mga party-list na ito! May kamatayan sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino (Do not vote for these party-lists! Filipino families will die)!” said Santos.
The casket and its contents were secured and transported to the Tarlac City Police Station for further investigation.
Police Col. Miguel Guzman, Tarlac police chief, also urged the public to provide any information on the discovery.
He reiterated the Tarlac police’s commitment to public safety and upholding the rule of law, especially during the election period.
