Diocese of Antipolo offers prayers, support to Pope Leo XIV

The Diocese of Antipolo has welcomed the election of former Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, and now Pope Leo XIV.
Bishop Ruperto Santos of the Diocese of Antipolo, in his message posted on social media, expressed his gratitude to God for the gift a new pope.
“We pray that You give him with the wisdom to lead, the courage to bear every burden, and the grace to persevere amid trials, Lord, may Your Holy Spirit fill him and illuminate his path with divine truth," Santos said in his message.
The prayer for Pope Leo XIV was recited during all the masses in the International Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage and all churches in the Antipolo Diocese.
