The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) activated on Thursday, May 8, its Media Action Center (MAC) as part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) commitment to transparency and proactive information dissemination for the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE) on May 12.

The action center will operate 24/7 as QCPD’s central hub for real-time communication, media engagement, and public information updates.

The initiative aims to fight misinformation, particularly the spread of fake news, and to provide media practitioners verified and up-to-date election-related developments.
The QCPD also maintains continuous coordination with the Commission on Elections (Comelec), the Department of Education (DepEd), local government, and other partner agencies to ensure peace, order, and integrity throughout the election period.
