QCPD activates media action center for 2025 elections

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) activated on Thursday, May 8, its Media Action Center (MAC) as part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) commitment to transparency and proactive information dissemination for the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE) on May 12.
The action center will operate 24/7 as QCPD’s central hub for real-time communication, media engagement, and public information updates.
Authorities said the center will be active before, during, and after election day to provide updates, respond to inquiries, issue press statements, and ensure the accurate and timely flow of information to the public and the media.
The initiative aims to fight misinformation, particularly the spread of fake news, and to provide media practitioners verified and up-to-date election-related developments.
The QCPD also maintains continuous coordination with the Commission on Elections (Comelec), the Department of Education (DepEd), local government, and other partner agencies to ensure peace, order, and integrity throughout the election period.
For updates and official information, the public is encouraged to report election-related concerns through QC Helpline 122 or visit MAC at Camp PMGen Tomas Karingal in Sikatuna Village, Quezon City.
