The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) on Thursday, May 8, reported the arrest of the province's No. 5 most wanted person for repeatedly molesting his 10-year-old neighbor for four years in Antipolo, Rizal.

The suspect was identified as "Mark," a resident of Barangay Cupang. He was also arrested in the same barangay on May 7.
Mark was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Family Court, Branch 17 of Antipolo City for multiple charges of acts of lasciviousness. The warrant was issued on May 6 with a recommended bail of P200,000.
Based on the police report, the victim's mother sought assistance from the police after discovering the crimes committed by the suspect on her daughter identified only as "Nene."
Investigation showed that from 2021 to 2024, the victim would go to the suspect's house to play with his child. While there, the suspect repeatedly molested Nene by forcing her to kiss him on the lips and by touching her thighs.
The victim finally told her mother about the years of harassment she received from Mark, prompting her to report the suspect to the police on January 26 this year.
Mark is currently detained at the police custodial facility.
