BACOLOD CITY – A six-year-old girl was electrocuted to death by a cellphone charger in Barangay Mabini, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, May 7.

Police Lt. Col. John Joel Batusbatusan, Cadiz police chief, said the
victim’s fingers touched the power plug of the charger plugged in their bedroom and was electrocuted.
She was declared dead in a hospital.
Her parents were not at home due to work and were only accompanied by their grandmother.
Batusbatusan said that the incident was only reported to the police the following day, May 8.
