4Ps, ACT-CIS lead party-list race in Stratbase-SWS survey
Party-list groups Pagtibayin at Palaguin ang Pangkabuhayang Pilipino (4Ps) and Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) may each secure three seats in the House of Representatives, based on voter preferences from the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted from May 2 to 6, ahead of the May 12 elections.
The nationwide survey, commissioned by the Stratbase Group, showed 4Ps with 7.67 percent of intended party-list votes, while ACT-CIS garnered 6.63 percent.
Both groups surpassed the 6-percent threshold required to obtain three guaranteed seats under the party-list system.
Meanwhile, Duterte Youth, which received 5.88 percent of intended votes, may win two seats, having exceeded the 4-percent threshold.
Six other party-list groups namely Solid North Party (3.65 percent), LPGMA (3.04 percent), Senior Citizens (2.69 percent), Ako Bicol (2.44 percent), Tingog (2.35 percent), and FPJ Panday Bayanihan (2.14 percent), each surpassed the 2-percent threshold and may secure one seat each.
The survey included a list of 155 party-list groups, based on the revised ballot template released by the Commission on Elections.
SWS conducted face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters aged 18 and above: 300 in Metro Manila, 900 in Balance Luzon, 300 in the Visayas, and 300 in Mindanao.
The survey has a margin of error of ±2.31 percent for national percentages, ±3.27 percent for Balance Luzon, and ±5.66 percent for Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
