CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The 22-year-old suspect in the murder of a service crew member in Quezon City surrendered to the Police Regional Office-13 on Thursday, May 8, in Barobo town, Surigao del Sur province.

Police Regional Office-13 (PRO-13) Director Police Brig. Gen Christopher N. Abrahano said that the suspect Boy allegedly killed the 25-year-old female victim in Barangay Sangandaan on May 4.
Boy was accompanied by his mother when he surrendered to the Barobo Municipal Police Station.
The killing was captured by closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.
Footages showed the suspect entering the store’s premises and forcibly dragging the victim into the kitchen area where he repeatedly stabbed her.
The suspect was allegedly driven by a desire to kill his colleague following a heated argument, police said.
Police are conducting thorough follow-up investigation.
“He is awaiting turnover to the Quezon City Police District after a series of proper documentation procedures here in the region. It is a good decision that he chose to surrender to ensure a smoother legal process,” Abrahano said.
