Man yields over P1-M shabu in Pasay City buy-bust

A high-value individual (HVI) who yielded P1 million worth of shabu was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Pasay City on Wednesday, May 7.

The suspect, identified as alias “Jo,” 29, was arrested at around 5:30 p.m. in front of a college institution along Roxas Boulevard, Barangay 76, Pasay City.

Operatives from the Southern Police District (SPD) – Drug Enforcement Unit and District Intelligence Division, in coordination with the Pasay City Police Substation 3, conducted the buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of Jo.

Jo was arrested after selling 150 grams of shabu worth P1,020,000 to an undercover police operative.

Aside from the confiscated shabu, police operatives also recovered from the suspect a mobile phone and the buy-bust money.

Jo was detained at the SPD-DEU custodial facility and charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
