Man arrested for P859,000 shabu in Taguig

The Taguig police arrested a man identified as a high value individual in a buy-bust operation on May 6. 

Suspect Gilbert, 44, was nabbed by the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit in front of his residence in Barangay West Rembo. 

During the operation, the police seized six plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 126.3 grams and valued at P858,840. They also recovered a P500 bill and four pieces of P1,000 boodle money used in the buy-bust operation.

A complaint will be filed against the suspect for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) with the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
