Senator Christopher “Bong” Go remains the top choice among voters in the latest nationwide senatorial survey conducted by Arkipelago Analytics from April 26 to May 1.
The survey results show Go with 63 percent of voter support.
In second place is ACT-CIS Party-list Rep Erwin Tulfo with 55 percent, followed by Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa in third place with 47 percent. Tied in fourth to fifth place are media personality Ben Tulfo and former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, each receiving 42 percent.
Rounding out the top 10 are Senator Pia Cayetano (41 percent, sixth), Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar (40.5 percent, seventh), Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (39 percent, eighth), Senator Lito Lapid (38.7 percent, ninth), and television host Willie Revillame (38 percent, 10th). Other candidates with a statistical chance of winning a senate seat are Sagip Partylist Rep. Rodante Marcoleta (34 percent, 11th), former senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV (33.5 percent, 12th), and Senator Imee Marcos (33 percent, 13th).
Tied with 32 percent voter support and ranked 14th to 17th are Makati Mayor Abby Binay, former senators Ping Lacson and Manny Pacquiao, and actor Phillip Salvador. Former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan and lawyer Jimmy Bondoc both received 29 percent (18th-19th), while former senator Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan garnered 27 percent (20th).
The survey, conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,400 registered voters nationwide, used proportional stratified random sampling. It has a margin of error of ±3 percentage points at a 97 percent confidence level.
Arkipelago Analytics applies a hybrid weighting system that factors in candidate popularity (70 percent) and voter conversion efficiency (30 percent).
