Sta. Ana Hospital remains 'Mother+Baby-Friendly' accredited by DOH
Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan announced that the Sta. Ana Hospital has retained its "Mother+Baby-Friendly" accreditation from the Department of Health (DOH).

She said the re-accreditation means Sta. Ana Hospital, the medical facility, continues to meet the strict standards of the DOH specific to maternal and infant care, as stated in different regulations and laws," Lacuna underscored.
In the three years of the Lacuna administration's city budgets, Sta. Ana Hospital has a combined total appropriation of P2 billion.
"Keeping its accreditation also means Sta. Ana Hospital's healthcare professionals, management, and personnel have maintained the standard of care Manileños deserve and expect," the mayor said.
Meanwhile, the President Corazon C. Aquino General Hospital, also known as Baseco Hospital, continues to undergo renovations and repairs to comply with the Department of Health standards for a general hospital.
The mayor stated that Baseco Hospital required repairs even before it could open, as it failed to meet the standards set by the Department of Health.
She also said the facility was constructed during the term of the previous mayor.
