Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Officer-in-Charge Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said the police force is fully prepared to ensure the holding of honest, orderly, and peaceful elections on Monday, May 12.
The QCPD will deploy more than 4,000 police personnel in polling precincts, strategic locations, and for anti-criminality operations throughout the city.
In line with the directive from the Philippine National Police, the QCPD had been placed under full alert status since May 3, 2025.
Silvio reminded the police personnel to remain apolitical.
"To all QCPD personnel, always be reminded to remain apolitical, refrain from any involvement in politics, and carry out your duties with integrity to ensure safe, orderly, and peaceful elections,” he said.
Police officers continue to guard polling centers where the election equipment is stored and will remain on duty until election day.
“We call on the public to stay alert, cooperate with authorities, and report any suspicious activity or incident immediately to the nearest police station or through the QC Helpline 122,” Silvio said.
