UP Sarong Banggi warmly invites you to celebrate Camarines Norte's unique identity and creativity

In observance of National Heritage Month, UP Sarong Banggi warmly invites you to celebrate Camarines Norte's unique identity and creativity. Join them from May 14–16, 2025, at the Student Union Building (Mural Hall), University of the Philippines Los Baños, for this immersive cultural exhibit.

UP Sarong Banggi (UPSB) is a socio-cultural and civic organization at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, deeply committed to promoting Bicolano heritage, fostering collective leadership, and strengthening camaraderie within and beyond the university.

This exhibit marks the beginning of an engaging journey through Bicol’s diverse heritage, offering the UPLB community a firsthand experience of its heart and soul. Attendees can look forward to a series of activities, beginning with an opening ceremony that sets the tone for the celebration, followed by an educational discussion that explores the rich history, art, and culture of Camarines Norte. The exhibit space will remain open throughout the three days, featuring interactive displays and traditional crafts. The celebration will culminate in a closing ceremony, where guests can enjoy a live performance while sampling some of Camarines Norte’s most beloved delicacies.

This semester, the journey begins in Camarines Norte, the province closest to Laguna and the first stop in the six-semester cultural exploration. With each passing semester, another province will take center stage, allowing the UPLB community to uncover and experience the full spectrum of Bicol’s traditions— One Province, One Story, One Stop at a time.
