Also visiting Malia and Danmark was Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac.
Cacdac also visited Masongsong’s wife Cynthia and his mother Edith, who were both injured in the accident and recuperating in the hospital.
Danmark sought justice for her daughter.
He pleaded in a media interview on Monday to make the driver of the SUV – Leo Gonzales – responsible for the incident.
Danmark said Malia’s death was painful and he still could not accept what happened.
He said that Cynthia still has no idea that Malia died during the incident.
Masongsong was about to return to work in the Czech Republic and had just been dropped off by his family when tragedy struck.
Cacdac assured Masongsong that they will reach to his employer and explained what happened.
