Farmer gunned down in Batangas

ROSARIO, Batangas – Police said a 52-year-old farmer was shot to death by a 42-year-old farmer on Sunday night, May 5, in Barangay Mavalor, this town.
Police identified the victim as Cele.
Investigation said the suspect Cesar arrived at the victim’s house onboard a vehicle drunk and suddenly shot the victim with a 9mm pistol in the chest.
Cele was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Cesar fled and was arrested in a follow-up operation.
Lawmen recovered the firearm used in the killing.
Suspect faces murder complaint.
Police said the suspect and the victim are neighbors.
