ILOILO CITY – Six chiefs of police in Iloilo and Capiz province were reshuffled ahead of the elections.
Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, chief information officer of the Police Regional Office-6, said on Wednesday, May 7, that five of them are under the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) – Police Major Kenn Albert Lepsia, Major Harold Rendora, Capt. Cedrick, Capt. Johnny Oro, and Lt. Patrick John Alabado.
Lepsia was transferred to the IPPO headquarters in Santa Barbara town from the municipality of Dumangas.
Rendora, IPPO deputy chief intelligence officer, replaced Lespia in Dumangas.
Cruz was transferred to the IPPO headquarters from Barotac Nuevo town. Oro replaced Cruz in Barotac Nuevo from Carles town.
Alabado, chief of the 1st Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company, replaced Oro..
In Capiz, Police Lieutenant Colonels Ricardo Jomuad and Lumyaen Lidawan switched positions as Roxas City and 1st Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company chiefs.
Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PRO-6 regional director, said there are complaints that some of these chiefs of police are political.
