Two men rob Japanese resto in Makati

Two men wearing helmets, one of them in a motorcycle taxi uniform, robbed a Japanese restaurant at gunpoint on Pasay Road, Makati City on Sunday, May 4.

The incident went viral on social media after the CCTV footage of the robbery was uploaded on Monday morning.

In the footage, the restaurant's patrons were having their meals when two men suddenly entered the establishment and pulled out their pistols and declared a hold-up.

The suspects took the customers' valuables such as cash, wallets, and cellphones and left the scene.

No one was reported hurt during the robbery.

Authorities are still investigating the incident as well as the identities of the suspects.
