A video of a woman refusing to settle a road argument between her and another motorist in Cainta, Rizal became viral online on Sunday, April 6, after the former said that the vehicle she allegedly hit was an "old" car.

In a Facebook video posted by Maricar Enriquez, a brand new Hyundai Tucson driven by the woman allegedly hit their 2017 Isuzu Crosswind while cruising along Ortigas Avenue Extension.

According to her, the woman's car hit their vehicle and "sped off and tried to get away all the way to Bayanihan."

"She refused to stop or even come down to settle things. When we caught up with her in Bayanihan, she seemed like she was about to crash into us again without a second thought,” Enriquez said.

While being confronted for running away from the incident, the Tucson's driver exclaimed that she is just in a hurry to catch up with her mother.

She then said she doesn't want to talk with Enriquez and shouted that the latter's vehicle is old.

"Nagmamadali ako kasi… kahit ako makipag-ano sa’yo, wala ka namang pambayad (I was in a hurry because... regardless if I responded to you or not, you don't have the means to pay me)," the Tucson's driver explained, prompting Enriquez to repeatedly insist that the Tucson's driver was the one who hit them.

“Kayo ‘yung nasa likod, binangga mo kami, tinakbuhan mo kami (You were the ones who hit us since you were at the back. And now you're trying to escape from it)," Enriquez said.

The Tucson's driver explained that the traffic was at a standstill at that time.

“Kaya kita tinakbuhan kasi naisip ko, wala kang ano, ta’s wala naman kayong pambayad! Nagmamadali ako kasi hinahabol ko ang nanay ko! Ang iniisip ko, wala naman kayong pambayad eh! Bago ang kotse ko (I thought that you have no means to pay for my car's damage! I was in a hurry because I was chasing after my mom! I'm thinking that you don't have the means to pay for my car since it is brand new)," the woman explained before raising up her window.

The altercation has since become viral online, earning more than 1.6 million views, over 10,200 reactions, more than 1,200 comments, and over 6,000 shares as of Tuesday, April 8.

Enriquez said she has already reported the incident to the police.
