Minor sexually assaulted by sister's live-in partner in Tondo

A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her sister’s live-in partner in Tondo, Manila, the Manila Police District reported on Monday, April 7.

MPD arrested the 22-year-old suspect after the victim's brother reported the incident.

According to the police report, the victim was sleeping when the suspect touched the private parts of her body.

When the victim opened her eyes, the suspect threatened her, warning her not to say anything or make a sound.

The victim's brother went inside the bedroom and saw the incident.

He immediately confronted the suspect which led to a commotion. 

The suspect will face a charge for violation of Republic Act 8353.
