Maris Racal tapped as celebrity endorser

Kapamilya star Maris Racal was recently introduced as the newest celebrity endorser for Hikari Skin Essentials during the launch in Quezon City.
Although absent at the launch, Maris completed a photo shoot for the beauty product. However, organizers said she would soon be introduced in a separate press conference. She will endorse the Sun Perfect Tinted Sunscreen product.
"Two years ago, we were looking for someone who would best represent the new campaign. So when we saw Maris, we were excited. She can act, and she's bubbly. Her personality is energetic. She is easy to deal with," said Michael Ray Almazan, President, BAU International Inc., maker of Hikari Skin Essentials, during an interview at the product launch.
S Ralph Lim, CEO, said he had known Maris when he was still connected with ABS-CBN.
"I was in charge of her first movie, 'Bloody Crayons.' So it's destined to happen. We were working two years ago. Now she is our celebrity endorser," said Ralph.
Michael noted that Ralph had always been aware of their long process in selecting Maris as the celebrity endorser.
"It took Maris two years to accept our offer because she had existing endorsements. But it's okay," Michael added.
Ralph also said: "So she finished her contracts with other brands before she accepted our offer."
