DOLE reminds firms to submit 2024 wage reports by June 30

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has reminded all private sector establishments to submit their 2024 Annual Establishment Report on Wages (AERW) from Mar. 17 to Jun. 30, in compliance with labor regulations.

In Labor Advisory No. 03, Series of 2025, DOLE said the report must contain a verified listing of employee wages as of December 31, 2024.

Under Article 124 of the Labor Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 6727, employers are required to declare the wages of rank-and-file employees, including apprentices, learners, and persons with disabilities, based on formal employment contracts.

To facilitate submission, DOLE directed establishments to upload the report through its Online Compliance Portal at https://reports.dole.gov.ph.

Failure to comply within the prescribed period may result in penalties, with DOLE stressing that timely submission is crucial in enforcing minimum wage laws and addressing wage-related concerns.

The department said the annual report enables labor authorities to monitor wage trends, detect disparities, and craft policies that promote fair compensation and protect worker welfare across all sectors.

It added that the use of its digital platform has improved data accuracy and compliance rates, making the reporting process more efficient for employers nationwide.
