The Malabon City government released the second tranche of financial assistance for a total of 86,674 residents through the Malabon Ahon Blue Card (MABC) program on Monday, March 17.

This is the 10th tranche of aid since the program's launch in 2022 benefiting thousands of residents in need.
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Office said that a total of 86,674 MABC residents were qualified for the first batch of beneficiaries for this year's second ayuda.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval emphasized the city's commitment to delivering on its promises and improving the quality of life for all Malabueños.
"Good news po para sa mga Malabueño! Matapos ang pamamahagi ng unang ayuda noong nakaraamg buwan ay pwede niyo pong i-claim ang ikalawang ayuda para sa taong 2025. Ito po ay bahagi ng ating pagpapatupad ng ating mga pangako at layunin. Marami na tayong naipatupad at nailapit na mga programang para sa pagbabago at pag-unlad. Ipagpapatuloy po natin ang mga ito at mas pagbubitihin para sa mas maayos at mas magandang buhay para sa bawat Malabueño (Good news for the Malabueño! After distributing the first financial aid last month, you can now claim the second aid for 2025. This is part of our commitment to fulfilling our promises and goals. We have implemented numerous programs aimed at change and progress. We will continue these efforts and strive to improve them for a better and brighter future for every Malabueño),” she said.
Beneficiaries will receive a text notification from the Universal Storefront Services Corporation (USSC) before claiming their financial aid.
It added that residents can withdraw their cash assistance from BancNet-powered ATMs or USSC branches nationwide.
The list of qualified beneficiaries has also been posted on the official MABC Facebook page for reference.
Additionally, the city government encouraged Malabueños to use their MABC cards as debit cards in purchasing food, groceries, and other essential items at stores equipped with point-of-sale (POS) devices for added convenience.
Residents are urged to safeguard their MABC cards and report any lost or damaged cards immediately to the USSC or the MABC Office located on the 4th floor of Malabon City Hall.
City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete assured the public that this is just one of many initiatives aimed at fostering unity and mutual assistance within the community.
"Ikalawang ayuda na para sa taong ito ang ating nasimulang ipamahagi at dapat abangang ng mga Malabueño ang mga susunod pa. Dahil ang pagkakaisa, bayanihan, at pagtulong ay buhay sa ating puso at diwa bilang mga Malabueño. Naririto lamang po ang pamahalaang lungsod upang tumulong sa inyo (This is the second aid for this year that we have started distributing, and Malabueños should look forward to the next ones.
