A 31-year-old man was shot to death while sitting on a parked motorcycle in Pasig City on Thursday night, March 13.
Authorities found the victim dead on the spot with multiple gunshot wounds, still wearing his headphones while sitting on a parked motorcycle along N. Cuevas Street in Barangay Kalawaan. His identity has not been disclosed.
Based on the investigation, the victim was talking to someone before the conversation turned into an argument.
Moments later, gunshots were heard in the area.
“Yung ating biktima eh may kausap na isang lalaki. Sa katagalan, bigla na lang may narinig na pagtatalo, tapos ay nakarinig na ng putok ng baril. Mahigit sa dalawa yung putok ng baril (The victim was talking to a man when an argument suddenly broke out, followed by gunshots. More than two shots were fired),” San Joaquin Police Sub-Station Commander Capt. Gilbert Bruan said in a media interview.
The responding barangay officials stated that the victim had been residing in the area for a long time and had no reported conflicts with anyone.
Authorities are now investigating the incident to determine the motive and locate the suspect.
