Rizal Province hosts regional sports meet for student athletes


Thousands of student athletes coming from various parts of Region 4-A are gathered in Rizal Province for the Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) 2025.

Kicking off the more than one week sports events for the students representing various schools in the Southern Tagalog comprising the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City were the symbolic lighting of the torch and the oath of sportsmanship for the youth players.

Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares and Schools Division Office Rizal (SDO Rizal) Superintendent Doris Estalilla welcomed the delegates representing various provinces in Region 4-A during the opening ceremony at the jampacked Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Ynares and the Department of Education officials highlighted the importance of sportsmanship, camaraderie and discipline in the student athlete’s quest for victory in each of the various sports events that will be held from March 2 to March 8 in different venues in the province including Antipolo City, this year’s cost of the sporting events for the student players.

Cultural dances during intermission numbers, were presented by students from various schools in Rizal Province. 

The SDO Rizal has released a publication material on the playing venues, list of billeting quarters, schedule of activities; event rules and regulations; delicacies and tourist spots in Rizal and the messages from DepEd and local government unit officials.
