Commodore Ludovico Librilla Jr. of the Philippine Coast Guard District Southern Visayas said a total of five dead dolphins have been discovered in the area.
Eight dolphins were stranded in the area on Jan. 26. One of them was found dead and the seven others were safely returned back to the sea.

Librilla said the five dead dolphins may be among the seven dolphins who returned and were stranded anew in the area.
Cause of death is suspected to be lung trauma from blasting sounds.
The City Veterinary Office is awaiting laboratory results to confirm the cause of their death.
Dolphins are not new in Bais as the city has a sandbar known for dolphin watching.
