A six-year-old girl is in critical condition after her playmate's mother attacked her inside the suspect's house in Caloocan City on Friday, Jan. 24.
Based on the police report, the victim and her six-year-old playmate were playing when the suspect suddenly entered the room they're in and assaulted her.
"According to the statement of the witness, pumasok daw doon yung mama nya then walang apparent reason, inuntog untog nya yung kalaro nya sa bowl ng apat na beses tapos binuhat at inuga-uga (According to the statement of the witness, her mom suddenly entered the room where they were playing and for no apparent reason, hit the victim's head on the bowl four times. She then carried the victim and shook her violently)," Hillcrest Police Sub-Station commander Cpt. Romel Caburog said.
The suspect's sibling heard the commotion and saw the victim heavily injured and vomiting blood.
They immediately brought her to the hospital and was placed under critical care after sustaining multiple head wounds and bruises.
During the investigation, the victim's mother claimed that the suspect is allegedly suffering from depression after giving birth.
The suspect did not comment on the incident after her arrest.
She is now facing frustrated murder charges.
