Fire hits cold storage facility in Quezon City


A fire broke out at a cold storage facility on Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue Barangay Del Monte, Quezon City on Monday morning, Jan. 20.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was raised to the 1st alarm at around 3:28 p.m. and raised to 2nd alarm at around 5:46 a.m. 

The blaze escalated to 3rd alarm at  8:21 a.m. and was declared under control at 12:19 p.m. 

As of this posting, firefighters are still trying to extinguish the fire.

Twenty six fire trucks were already deployed in the area.
