The Department of Tourism (DOT) and Klook Philippines have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at digitally transforming the country’s tourism sector and enhancing accessibility for both local and international travelers.

DOT Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco and Klook President and Co-Founder Eric Gnock Fah led the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA ) and Strategic Alliance.

Frasco said the Philippine Experience Program (PEP) serves as a central component of the collaboration, offering curated tour packages that highlight the Philippines' cultural, historical, and natural treasures.

This partnership supports the DOT’s ongoing efforts to foster digital innovation, utilizing Klook’s extensive global platform to reach a wider audience and promote the country’s diverse tourism offerings.

By integrating Klook’s global reach with the DOT’s tourism assets, the collaboration ensures seamless travel solutions for tourists, making it easier to explore the Philippines' many attractions.

“We are grateful for Klook’s partnership in supporting the Love the Philippines campaign, which has showcased our country's unique beauty to the world,” Frasco said.

“This collaboration strengthens our National Tourism Development Plan, with a focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and digital innovation as key drivers of tourism growth,” she added.

Gnock Fah expressed Klook’s enthusiasm for promoting the Philippines’ tourism offerings, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sharing the country’s natural wonders and vibrant culture with a global audience.

The partnership will feature top PEP destinations on Klook’s platform, including Pagsanjan Falls in Calabarzon, Mayon Volcano in Bicol, and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Ilocos, along with other prominent regions like Western Visayas and Palawan, providing immersive travel experiences.

Additionally, DOT’s Tourist Rest Areas (TRAs) will be integrated into Klook’s platform, improving access to key rest stops for travelers across the country.

Klook also plans to expand its presence through regional roadshows and collaborations with major tourism hubs such as Mactan-Cebu International Airport and Clark International Airport.

As a long-time partner of the DOT, Klook has continually supported Philippine tourism through initiatives like social media marketing training and the "Love the Philippines" campaign.

With over half a million experiences available across 2,700 destinations nationwide, Klook continues to play a pivotal role in bringing the Philippines to a global audience.
