Gordon Ramsay heads to Manila this January

Iconic chef to spice up the local dining scene

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay revealed plans to visit the Philippines this January via a Facebook post. The update included an image of fish and chips from the Manila location of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, which opened at Newport World Resorts on Aug. 31, 2024.

The restaurant, located on the second floor of the Newport Grand Wing, spans 400 square meters, making it one of the largest dining venues within the 25-hectare resort. Its design combines classic British elements with modern touches, creating a welcoming yet sophisticated ambiance that reflects its UK origins.

Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill’s menu highlights British culinary classics, including Fish & Chips made with battered Pacific grouper and crispy fries, and the Signature Beef Wellington—featuring tender beef wrapped in mushroom and truffle duxelles, encased in golden pastry, and served with creamed potatoes and red wine jus. The menu also showcases premium charcoal-grilled steaks and other signature offerings.

Ramsay’s visit to Manila marks the first for the renowned chef, celebrated for his fiery personality and global culinary empire.
