The families of the five young victims who lost their lives in a fire in Tondo, Manila are asking for financial assistance to cover their funeral expenses.
The children, aged between 8 and 13, perished in a blaze that broke out at a three-story residential building on the night of Dec. 30 while they were visiting their relative's house to celebrate the New Year.
In a Facebook post shared by Kap Rambo, the incident left the families of the victims not only grieving, but also facing financial hardship in arranging funeral services and covering the wake's necessary costs.
He appealed to the public for donations to help cover the funeral expenses.
He emphasized that all funds received would go directly toward the funeral arrangements and other necessary costs to provide the victims with a proper send-off.
