With my look, I was inspired by the boots themselves and how unconventional their design is. They challenged me to put the whole outfit together by finding the right top, adding the stockings as the final detail, and tying the whole outfit cohesively. I would say my style, in general, is very versatile and creative, deeply influenced by my parents’ distinct aesthetics. From my mother, I embrace vibrant, loud, and printed designs that exude confidence and playfulness. From my father, I draw on dark, grungy elements: layered textures, muted tones, and an edgy vibe. This duality allows me to move fluidly between two extremes: colorful, statement-making outfits one day and minimalist, moody ensembles the next. For me, fashion should be experimental. I don’t like to limit or box myself into just one aesthetic. I enjoy mixing high and low fashion, blending unexpected combinations of color, pattern, and silhouettes that still harmoniously resonate with me. My #StyleWeekend involves dressing up nicely, going to church, spending half my morning strolling through my province’s Sunday market, buying flowers, drinking matcha (of course), eating my mother’s home-cooked meal with my family, and resting the whole afternoon.—Rigel Heron Alvarado

My personal style is all about challenging myself to re-style what I own in different ways! I create clothing and art solely from textile waste from the fashion industry, and my personal style reflects that. I love exploring colors and textures and discovering the endless combinations my current wardrobe can create. My #StyleWeekend starts with rearranging my wardrobe, mixing and matching to create new looks for future hangouts and occasions. That, paired with some good Afro beats and a cup of coffee, sets the tone for my weekend.—Rio Cuervo

I’m essentially a wannabe, midsized version of Carrie Bradshaw—sometimes androgynous, sometimes looking like I’m headed to the beach, but most of the time a little bit of both. My look today was specifically inspired by an outfit Carrie wore, and what drew me to it was how the colors flattered my morena skin tone. I’m a maximalist at heart, but I’ve learned to find balance by mixing my funkier, vintage-printed pieces with more timeless basics, never forgetting my essential stack of gold jewelry! My #StyleWeekend starts with cuddling my dog and catching up on the latest gossip with my parents. For the rest of the day, you’ll find me either eating at a new food spot with my family or going to a pop-up with friends—all, of course, while dressed up!—Bianca Lipana

A fascinating blend of practicality, warmth, and style—wearing Uggs in -10°C weather can be a bit of a gamble, especially if you’re not used to the cold. It’s a bold move to wear a casual outfit during this time of year. My #StyleWeekend begins with a warm sip of coffee while checking the temperature for the day. During the weekend, I usually dress up for work and run errands. If I have free time, my friends and I often go out to explore Canada at night. This is why you should always aim to be stylish yet practical in choosing the perfect outfit.—AJ
