LOOK: Nancy Binay is 'ready to serve' as Makati mayor

Senator Maria Lourdes Nancy Binay now seems to be gearing up for a mayoral bid in Makati City, as indicated by her latest social media post.

Binay took to Facebook and Twitter, earlier today sharing a message that read: “Ready to serve,” accompanied by the hashtag #Makati2025.

The senator’s post also showed a photo of her holding a heart-shaped sign with “100%” written on it, signaling her full commitment.

Last August, the lawmaker hinted at running for mayor saying her decision is still at 70 percent. Binay, however, said she is still waiting for signs on whether to solidify her decision.

But in August, Binay noted a growing public clamor for her to run, making her fully decide to run for mayor.

Binay, whose term as a senator is ending in 2025, said her candidacy has the full support of her family, including her father, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, who also served as Makati mayor for decades.
