BTS' V, Stray Kids, TWS win at The Fact Music Awards Day 1

The first day of the 2024 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) was held on Sept. 7 at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. 

The Korean music awards ceremony was organized by media outlet The Fact and it was the first time that the event was held overseas to celebrate the news site’s 10th anniversary. 

Performers on the first day were Kim Jae-joong, TWS, WOOAH, NiziU, Kep1er, n.SSign, EVNNE, Young Posse, TWS, and NEXZ. The show was hosted by Jun Hyun-moo and Seohyun.

Winning Artist of the Year were Kim Jae-joong, TWS and NiziU. Kim Jae-joong also won Hot Stage of the Year. 

"This is my first time attending 'The Fact Music Awards' and I'm honored to be a part of such a meaningful day. It reminds me of all the things I've accomplished over the past 20 years. I really want to thank our fans," said Kim Jae-joong, according to The Fact.  

BTS’ V won Best Music (Spring) while Stray Kids bagged the Fourstar Award. 

Kep1er performed covers of songs by K-pop boy bands including Stray Kids' “Maniac,” SHINee’s “Juliette” and Super Junior’s “Devil.” 

The second day of the ceremony will be on Sept. 8 and will be attended by ITZY, Aespa, NewJeans, JO1, &TEAM, Xikers, Kiss of Life, NCT WISH, and UNIS.
