M Bakery Café, the newest branch of the New York-based Magnolia Bakery franchise, opens today, September 7, 2024, at Opus Mall in Bridgetown, Quezon City. This New York icon, known for its baked-from-scratch cupcakes, brownies, cheesecakes, and tres leches, is now more accessible to residents in the northern and eastern parts of Metro Manila. The café concept expands the menu to include new desserts like ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, desserts à la mode, and loaded dessert jars, alongside the bakery's iconic bestsellers. The selection is curated for the Filipino palate with flavors exclusive to the country.

M Bakery Cafe offers a wide range of ice cream flavors using fresh, premium ingredients. Indulge in classic flavors (vanilla bean, chocolate, strawberry), specialty flavors (pistachio, banana hazelnut, lychee sorbet), and new and unique flavors (fruit and nut, ube with white chocolate, banana with chocolate hazelnut, burnt butter). You may also indulge in their new signature flavors: ruby chocolate and banana pudding.

History
The iconic New York-based bakery first opened its doors at a small storefront on Bleecker Street in West Village in 1996, and it has since expanded to major cities like Los Angeles, Dubai, Mumbai, and Istanbul. In the Philippines, M Bakery opened its flagship store at One Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in 2018. Today, M Bakery can be found in Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati; Mitsukoshi in BGC; and SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
In 2022, M Bakery underwent a brand redesign to modernize their image while maintaining their beloved charm and heritage. This reflects their commitment to constantly evolve while retaining the bakery’s roots. The contemporary rebrand appears in the stylish, timeless interiors inside the newest store at OPUS Mall, enhancing the customer experience, and thereby attracting a broader audience.
