Cloudy skies, scattered rains expected in Luzon as 'habagat' prevails – PAGASA
The southwest monsoon (habagat) will continue to affect Luzon on Saturday, Sept. 7, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its latest weather forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands due to the southwest monsoon.
The “habagat” will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned of possible flooding or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains, as well as during severe thunderstorms.
