TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Police seized shabu worth P10.2 million from a suspected drug pusher during the implementation of a search warrant in his residence in Barangay Bagay here on Thursday night, September 5.
Police identified the suspect as Paul Mark Quizzagan, 39, considered a high-value individual and in the watchlist of suspected drug personalities in Cagayan.
Among the items recovered from the suspect were 16 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 500 grams valued at P3.5 million, one pack of shabu about one kilo and worth P6.8 million, a gun magazine with bullets, and drug paraphernalia.
The operation was covered by a warrant issued by Judge Jezarene C. Aquino, Executive Judge of the Tuguegarao City Regional Trial Court Branch 5.
The suspect faces drug- and gun-related cases.
Police Brig. Gen. Christopher C. Birung, Police Regional Office-2 chief, cited operating units for their accomplishment.
