A worker died after he fell from a shipping container while stabilizing a crane at Manila Harbor Center in Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila on Thursday, September 5.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the victim as Randy Transmanio, a resident of Navotas City.
According to his co-worker, the victim was standing on top of a shipping container and was stabilizing the crane at around 12 noon.
Due to inclement weather, the container was blown by a strong wind causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground.
The victim was rushed to Tondo Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival.
