During the run of his shows, Doh Kyung-soo interacted with fans across Asia and proved his growing popularity and power by selling out all tickets for every show in every region.

Manila

Doh Kyung-soo opened his Manila show by performing the song “Mars” to loud screams and cheers from the audience.

“Ako si Kyung-soo (I am Kyung-soo). It’s been such a long time, right? Long time no see. Have you guys been doing well? I want to feel the energy of the Philippines, Manila,” he greeted the audience.

He added, “I can’t remember how long it has been since I last came to the Philippines. I really missed you guys.”

Doh Kyung-soo sported a new haircut, which elicited screams from the audience.

“You know, you guys are the first one to see it. You guys are the first one to see my new style,” he said, saying that it is for his new drama project.

He said, “My hair is kinda neat at this moment but if you see the drama, you’ll (see) a whole different thing.”

“It’s been six or seven years since I didn’t come to the Philippines. I did not expect the heat will be this hot,” said Doh Kyung-soo.

He said he named the fan meet “Bloom” after his album “Blossom.”

“I kinda thought like, maybe, the audience could actually bloom while watching the concert,” he added.

Segments

The fan concert was divided into two main segments. In the first segment, he talked about his career and played games.

In “KyungSoo in Bloom,” he picked a name of a flower that corresponded to a segment. The flowers shown were drawn by him.

In the “Food Balance Game,” Doh Kyung-soo had to choose between two food options. He chose eating chicken drumsticks over eating chicken wings, eating meat for seven days a week over eating fish seven days a week, Jollibee over halo-halo, beer over fresh mango juice.

In another segment, he tried to guess details in dramas that he appeared in.

He also sang parts of EXO songs in the next segment including “Lotto,” “My Answer,” “El Dorado,” “The First Snow,” and “Christmas Day.”

Doh Kyung-soo also chose messages sent by fans. He sang James Smith’s “Call Me When It's Over,” Bruno Mars and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire,” “I’m Fine,” and “Fly Me to the Moon.”

In “To DO list,” he sang the Filipino song “Hawak Kamay” by Yeng Constantino and his own song “Wonder.”

Performances

The second half of the fan concert showed Doh Kyung-soo entertaining the crowd with his performances.

He sang “Simple Joys,” “I Do,” “My Dear,” “Good Night,” “About Time,” “Somebody,” “Ordinary Days,” “That’s Okay” and “Popcorn.”

The show would not be complete without a fan video containing messages from Filipino fans.

“It took us 2,133 days before we got to see each other again but every single second of waiting was worth it because it’s you, our pride, happiness and our favorite all-rounder, Doh Kyungsoo,” the message in the video read.
