10 dead, 4 missing in Rizal after 'Enteng' onslaught

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) has recorded at least 10 people dead and four others missing after the province was battered by heavy rains and flooding brought about by Tropical Storm Enteng and the enhanced southwest monsoon.

As of September 5, some 5,668 individuals equivalent to 1,670 families are still in 49 evacuation centers in the province.

Rizal PPO Director PCol. Felipe Maraggun said more than 80 people were rescued by police personnel during the storm.

Authorities also recorded five landslide incidents in Rizal.
