Woman's body discovered in Batangas shoreline

LEMERY, Batangas - The body of a woman was found in the shoreline of Balayan Bay in Barangay Mataas na Bayan here on Tuesday, September 3.

Barangay Chairman John Edison Mahinay told police that the body was discovered face down around 10 a.m. by Reynaldo, a resident of Barangay Mataas na Bayan, while gathering coconuts along the shoreline.

The victim was between 20- to 30-years-old,  large built, 5'2" in height, with a rose flower and an April 19 tattoo on her right arm, Faith,  Hope, Love with a signature tattoo on her left arm, and A. Abunda tattoo on the right upper chest.

Police said the victim may have drowned two to three days ago.
