SMC special projects manager Micaela Rosales and Mayor Benjamin Magalong led the turnover.

Recipients thanked SMC for the donation.

Rosales said these equipment came from a shuttered school in Bulacan. She assured that another batch of equipment will be given that will benefit a total of 67 public schools.

"It doesn't matter, this has Batch 2, because SMC bought a private college school that closed in Bulacan and these arm chairs and other tables are from there and there are many other equipment that we can give you and benefit every school here,” said Rosales.

“Please visit the place, look for items that are still useful for the children so that they are not wasted and just destroyed being there,” Rosales added.

She said that they will donate money to purchase more cans of paint to cover all 67 schools.

“Since it was a nursing school, there are equipment, apparatus that are still useful, because that is a nursing school, they might have microscopes that can still be used, board, which can still be used in schools and other useful materials that we can get,” said Dr. Soraya Faculo, acting Schools Division Superintendent here.

“The chairs they gave are of good quality and they are big, comfortable for children to sit on plus an area under the chair where the learners can place their belongings,” Faculo added.
